The practice relocated to its existing site in 2002, to a provide high quality and personal dental service, with a particular emphasis on prevention and preservation of your own teeth. We focus on health first and by offering a full range of dental services and cosmetic treatments, we plan to give you not only healthy teeth but also a confident smile.
You’ll find a warm welcome waiting for you from our friendly reception team, and a bright, spacious waiting area so you can relax before your appointment. Our surgeries are equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art digital technology.
We are predominately a private practice, which allows us to provide the high standard of care and services that we would expect ourselves.
Children and adult patients with exemptions can be seen under the NHS, without charge.

Richard Ward BDS GDC 70599
"I qualified from Newcastle in 1995 , a city which I still regards fondly.I started working in Southwell in 1996, along with the sister ptactice in Mansfield.
I love preservative, less invasive dental techniques and finding sensible solutions to peolples problems. Outside dentistry, I enjoy a variety of interests including birdwatching, photography and to rarely now,field archery and watching ice hockey. My two children manage to keep me busy the rest of the time and I often think my main job is a taxi service "
Leigh Evans GDC 842184
Leigh qualified from Manchester in 1996, working mainly in East Midlands, but with an Msc in forensic dentistry he has also taught extensively around the UK.
He has special interest in short -term orthodontics and jaw joint disorders.
"Free time is a rarity, but I enjoy skiing and snowboarding. I also enjoy sky-diving (my wife does not approve!) and I have recently started ninjutsu...basically being kicked about for fun !"

Lee-Anne Smith (hygienist) GDC 6178
Lee-Anne re-joined the practice in April 2016, having first been with us back in 2003-2005 when she first qualified. She moved to Birmingham to take up the post of paediatric hygienist at Birmingham Children’s hospital. She moved back to the area in 2014 after gaining a wealth of experience in various dental settings.
“I am deeply passionate about my role as a Hygienist and especially in treating patients with phobias and special needs. I love treating children and teaching both them and parents about the importance of oral health. Outside of work I am a keen baker and crafter.”
